Through my assistance from Helping Hands, I have been able to stay in my home and also receive medical treatment including water therapy for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have been a widow for thirty years. Upon the onset of my RA some sixteen years ago and my inability to continue my work, Helping Hands stepped in and saved me from losing my home and afforded me the opportunity to receive medical treatment not covered by insurance. With their help I have been able to eat nutritious food and have an opportunity to continue independent living. I cannot say enough about the love and compassion expressed to recipients by the staff of Helping Hands. They are like family. |
